STYX is a film about a soul's journey through time. It is a story about soul mates, the karma of their cursed relationship, which they endure from one life to the next.

Alexia Roider

Alexia Roider was born in Germany in 1975 and was raised in Cyprus.
Having experimented with still photography, she became inspired by the capacity and power of images. Therefore, she decided to explore the world of the moving image, by attending film studies at the London Institute, School of Media in the UK. Her aspiration is to find true personal expression through her work. Returning to Cyprus, Alexia has gained experience in the production and direction of television commercials, documentaries, corporate and music videos, by working in a large production company for the last ten years. She has also worked on various local and international film productions. STYX is her first personal project as a Director.
